拆解維護伊斯蘭又一理據2015年12月18日

因伊斯蘭國崛興，有人重提某種陳腔濫調「證明」伊斯蘭教非暴力，辯護者說：因為伊斯蘭國也殺害穆斯林啊，可見暴力非源自伊斯蘭，因為教義禁戒穆斯林以宗教之名殺害同道的。

每當伊斯蘭聖戰士在西方大開殺戒，就有人提此說法。聖伯納迪諾（http://www.raymondibrahim.com/2015/12/11/cair-blames-america-for-san-bernardino-massacre/）恐怖襲擊令14人喪生，案發之後，美國總統奧巴馬一再強調，伊斯蘭國「不代表伊斯蘭」（http://www.raymondibrahim.com/2014/10/17/the-islamic-state-and-islam/），他解釋說（http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/06/politics/transcript-obama-san-bernardino-isis-address/）：

伊斯蘭國不代表伊斯蘭，他們不過是暴徒、兇手，是嗜血的異端…再者，全球恐怖襲擊受害者以穆斯林佔大多數。

同樣地，11月巴黎恐怖襲擊（http://www.raymondibrahim.com/2015/11/14/shock-the-grand-lesson-of-the-paris-jihad/）令129人喪生，事後英國《獨立報》刊載文章（http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/paris-attacks-isis-responsible-for-more-muslim-victims-than-western-deaths-a6737326.html）〈巴黎襲擊案－伊斯蘭國殺害穆斯林人數多於西方人〉（Paris attacks: Isis responsible for more Muslim deaths than western victims）；每日野獸新聞網（Daily Beast）亦稱（http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/11/16/muslims-hate-isis-most-of-all.html）：「巴黎兇案發生前，伊斯蘭國天天殺害穆斯林。我們穆斯林鄙視這些瘋子更甚於其他人…這個野蠻恐怖組織的最大受害人肯定是穆斯林。」
